SAQA OREGON
July 2019 NEWSLETTER
July is Blooming!
I love the many colors of Hydrangeas blooming this month. Every shade of purple and blue can be found in my neighborhood. I hope your neighborhood is blooming with color! As I write this, Central Oregon is abloom with quilts for the Sister’s Outdoor Quilt Show. I know many of you are enjoying some time there.
SAQA Oregon is blooming, too. We keep growing in numbers and that speaks to our excellent programs and exhibit opportunities. This would not happen without our excellent volunteers who work hard to make things happen. We are looking for a member to monitor our FB page to make it more interactive, like the SAQA Global members only page. If you would like to take this on, let Diane or I know. It will soon be time for someone to take my place as a co-rep for Oregon. Let us know if you might be interested in this job. It is fun and especially rewarding here in Oregon. I would like to extend a warm welcome to Candace Hunter and Kristiann Bonn, our new LC leaders for Valley South.
