Techniques: machine pieced and hand quilted, painted.

Artist Statement:

For the fortunate, there is a place in the world that provides what is absolutely necessary at any given moment--serenity, acceptance, solitude, companionship, silence--whatever. A personal oasis, literal, virtual, or metaphorical. For me, this island of serenity is dockside, watching as the sun dances across sky and water.
